US Bank and Kroger extend partnership with strategic payments agreement

Financial services provider US Bank has extended its partnership with US-based traditional grocery retailer Kroger.

According to the agreement, US Bank has acquired Kroger’s existing credit card portfolio from RBS Citizens and intends to offer Kroger customers a renewed suite of payment products. US Bank currently provides a number of retail, corporate banking, trust, capital markets and credit services for Kroger. The financial company operates bank branches in 192 of Kroger’s locations through an in-store banking relationship.

US Bancorp is a subsidiary of US Bank, a financial services provider that owns 3,025 banking offices in 24 states across the US.
