Wells Fargo expands remittance service in Latin America, adds remittance paying agent in Mexico

US-based diversified financial services company Wells Fargo has added a number of new destinations to the list of countries that can receive Wells Fargo ExpressSend remittance transactions.

Thus, Wells Fargo has expanded to Honduras, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina. Additionally, Wells Fargo has added Mexican telecommunications company Telecomunicaciones de Mexico (Telecomm Telegrafos) as a new paying agent.

Customers can now remit to an additional 1,560 new payout locations in Mexico, bringing the total payout locations in Mexico to more than 5,500.

Wells Fargo customers can access the bank’s remittance services by signing on to Wells Fargo Online, by calling a toll-free number or by visiting a Wells Fargo store location.
