Western Union, FOREX Bank sign money transfer agreement for Scandinavia

Global payment services company Western Union Company has reached an agreement with FOREX Bank, a Swedish financial services provider, to offer money transfer services in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Under terms of the agreement, FOREX is set to offer Western Union services at 100 of its agent location throughout the Scandinavian countries.

Western Union services are already available at more than 1,400 agent locations in the Nordic region of Europe.

In October 2011, Western Union has entered an agreement with France-based La Banque Postale, a subsidiary of La Poste Group, in order to provide all accountholders of this bank with the Account-Based Money Transfer (ABMT) services.
