ZipZap, Softgate Systems to expand US payment center network

ZipZap, an alternative payments company, has joined forces with US-based retail electronic payment services company Softgate Systems to expand its US network of payment centers.

As a result, consumers will now be able to make payments for all ZipZap transactions at more than 18,000 independent agent locations.

Softgate Systems operates a walk-in bill payment and financial services network in the US. Via this network, consumers using ZipZaps cash payment services will be able to complete their transactions at merchant locations in their local neighborhood.

In recent news, ZipZap has entered agreement with SafetyPay, a US-based online payment systems developer, to add ZipZaps CashPay service as the latters preferred cash payment option for e-commerce merchants across all channels.

Founded in 2010, ZipZap enables consumers to use cash to make online purchases, pay bills and top-up e-wallets, prepaid cards and mobile accounts. Through a global network of over 700,000 payment centres, consumers can complete transactions in their neighborhood using local currency.
